How Do I Logon To The ICA Server?

The ICA server provides desktop software applications to X-station and Wyse terminals. It also provides remote access to VTH web pages and Mac access. It is the only way to create RTG documents.

From an X-station or Wyse Terminal:

1. X Programs (X-Stations Only)

2. N – VMC Application Desktop (EID)

3. Enter your Eid User name and password, (Logon on to COLOSTATE), click OK

4. Your VMC Desktop displays

5. Double-click to access the software package of your choice

6. To create RTG documents double-click VMC programs

From a PC:

1. Load Internet Explorer

2. On the VTH Home Page click on the “VMC ICA Login” link.

3. Enter your Eid User name and password, click OK

4. Your VMC Desktop will display

5. Double-click to access the software package of your choice

6. To create RTG documents double-click the VMC Programs link.

Note: If you access the ICA server from an X-station you will need to have NUMLOCK ON, and you will need to turn NUMLOCK OFF after leaving.
