How to use “Guide to Poisonous Plants” Web site:

The Title bar, shown on the Poisonous Plant web pages includes the following key links (selected by positioning the mouse pointer then single click mouse):

• HOME – takes you to the “Guide to Poisonous Plants” home page
• CSU – Colorado State University’s Home Page
• CVMBS - Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences
• SEARCH – The Poisonous Plant database function, search for a key word or phrase contained in the database. 
• Examples: click in the search field provided and type in “lameness” then hit Enter or Click the Start-Search button to the right of the search box.  Note: You may want to enter just the term “lame” which include all records that use the term “lame” or a word contains it, “lameness”.
• Pull-down lists provided for different categories, “Common Names”
• GLOSSARY – listing of figures and terms
• DEFINITIONS – listing of useful term definitions

• HELP – Basic help screen for the SEARCH page.
